Don't let the Japanese voiceover and "hey, it's from an anime!" looks fool you one bit. The Count Lucanor is a great and creepy little indie game from developer Baroque Decay that's completely in English and one of the more unsettling games I've played recently. A full review is going up on the more updated (newer!) DAF, but I'm just giving the heads up to you folks still poking around here that you should boogie on over to the Count's Steam page and give the game a look-see.

May Day, May Day! Not Really (But Really...)

Project CARS is finally coming out! May 7 on PS4 and Xbox One, May 12 via Steam for PC and sometime whenever a release date is announced for Wii U.
It's FREE COMIC BOOK DAY tomorrow (May 2nd) at a comic shop near you! Go walk in and grab a giveaway like this cool Dark Horse promo above! Or the one below! FREE!
Um, what else, what else? Oh yeah! May The 4th Be With You and let that be your gateway to discovering the wild worlds of Star Wars if you haven't yet. It'll also keep you off the streets when the stupid Cinco de Mayo revelries take place. Now there's a "holiday" that's gotten way too out of hand thanks to US marketing making it another boozy blast no one in the U.S. remembers for what it really means. Bleh. It's my birthday on May 7, so send me free stuff like cakes and money and jewels and stuff! Heh. Just kidding, of course. It IS my birthday, but I'm going to be spending it fairly quietly this year tinkering away on an idea or three as usual. I'm not much for wild parties and stuff these days. Okay, if you're reading this, you're in the wrong place! Get yourself over to the not so NEW DAF and sign up already!
