MotorStorm Apocalypse 3D Trailer (Now, In Stunning 2D!)

Even without the insane 3D effect making your eyes pop out of your head saying "oooooooh", this trailer for Evolution Studios' upcoming PS3 exclusive racer is just plain spectacular, over the top insanity. Keep this one on your radars, folks - the game is really turning out to be a total blast. Now if only Sony would revive and give Evolution the Rally Cross license and let them have at it, I'd be an even happier gamer!

MotorStorm Apocalypse Festival Mode Developer Diary

Yet one more of the upcoming PS3 games that will make you want a shiny new 3DTV, but also looks spectacular and speedy on anything. Take a look at this dev diary and see how it's all coming together. Batteries not included, some assembly required. Warning: small parts - not for children under 3 years.

MotorStorm Apocalypse Will Make You Want to Save Up For That 3D TV...

Yeah, I'm also saying that about Killzone 3, The Sly Collection and that absolutely lovely Ico/Shadow of The Colossus twofer coming your way (and the more the merrier, right?). However, of all the first-party PS3 games I've seen that use 3D enhancements, Evolution Studio's upcoming racer truly takes the cake and even eats the damn candles in terms of total WOW factor. The game screams along at a solid 30fps with nothing stopping the onscreen chaos, except perhaps that building, opponent or gaping crevasse you'll crash into thanks to the overwhelming visuals. Sitting down, popping on a pair of Sony 3D glasses and watching Game Director Matt Southern play through normal and 3D enhanced modes was a quite a thrilling experience (to say the least).

MotorStorm Apocalypse Trailer

Evolution Studios takes the vehicular chaos of its PS3 exclusive racer to the urban wasteland in this action-packed trailer. Now, if only Sony would revive the Rally Cross license and let the team have their way with it (hell, they did FIVE great WRC games, four of which never came out in the U.S. of A.), I'd be an even happier camper.
