Finally, some chilling (ha ha) gameplay footage from the upcoming game that washes the vestiges of that awful Batman & Robin movie from the last century out of my brain for good. Rocksteady is definitely on course to deliver an even better experience than the first game, that's for sure. I'm glad that there's a separation between this and Chris Nolan's films simply because it's great to see what a developer can do when NOT tied to following or trying to capture a movie experience properly in game form. That's hit or miss, especially with games based on films based on comic books. Yes, I'll run the previous gameplay trailers within the next few days (thanks for asking)...

Some Friday Night Frights From WBIE...
Um.... Hmmmmm. ONE of these promo images from WBIE I got this week scares the hell out of me and one doesn't. I'll leave you to decide which one. Let's hope I'm all wrong for being a bit jittery... Maybe it's all that caffeine or lack of sleep (one leads to another and next thing you know... you're all wacky about the littlest things)...

Gallery: Batman: Arkham City

Hmmm... And I always imagined Harley Quinn as some emo chick with black hair and bangs under that funny jester hat and pancake makeup she sports in the animated series. Then again, I can see the crazed blond cheerleader look she's sporting in the Batman: Arkham City render to the left catching on with the fans and those cosplayers that don't mind squeezing what they can into a custom made outfit. Two pieces of production artwork and a few early screens below the jump. If the new open city direction works well enough, this just might be the Spider-Man 2 of Batman games (little in-joke there)...
More on the game as news comes in.
