N3II Promo Posters 1 & 2
Two very cool promotional posters for the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights II show off a nicely grim aesthetic I'm hoping the game manages to pull off a bit more than the original (well, a LOT more, actually).
Konami has the publishing rights this time out, but I'm guessing they more than likely had not much at all to do with the development on the sequel. I've got my fingers crossed anyway that the game will be at least equal to the first one in terms of massive waves of enemies and very tough bosses. We shall see, I suppose...

Ju-on: The Grudge Set To Creep Into Stores Next Week
Don't expect any big guns, fast-paced action or room sized bosses to do battle against here - the game is a pure test of nerves and what could be called a "true" survival horror experience, as youe sole goal in each scenario is to make it to the end of the stage alive. Trust me, folks... it's harder than you think, especially if you're scared of the dark, objects moving just out of your vision, strange sounds emanating from your Wii Remote and pure, "jump-out" scares when you least expect it...
A tiny bit of the press release remains to let you know what you're about to experience... two surviving game images merely hint at the horror to come...
Story
It is said that when a person dies with a deep and burning grudge, a curse is born. When an average housewife in Nerima, Japan, was murdered in a grisly fashion, it gave rise to a curse so powerful that it threatens to kill at a pace thought unimaginable before.
The curse manifests on those who encounter the curse by any means, such as entering the house or being in contact with somebody who was already cursed. Once Erika Yamada is exposed to the curse while searching for her dog in an abandoned warehouse, the entire Yamada family is put in grave danger as soon as she reunites with them at home. They must now face their individual challenges alone, and only by overcoming the curse together will their family truly be free again.
Gameplay
Using the Wii Remote as a flashlight, JU-ON: The Grudge has players move forward with the touch of a button and explore haunted areas such as an abandoned warehouse, a dimly-lit hospital, and a mannequin factory. Much like a haunted house, the player must proceed forward even after being frightened and running away from the initial threat.
As much fun as it is to get scared, sometimes it's even more fun to watch others play to observe their reactions. For instant gratification, grab a second Wii Remote and push buttons to make in-game events happen immediately to make the player jump and hate you forever.
