Cursed Mountain Cover Art Revealed

What's with the Wii being the go-to console for scary games in 2009? Between Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Ju-on: The Grudge, Dead Space: Extraction and now this, things are definitely looking up for folks like me who like to play certain games from behind the sofa with goosebumps popping up all over. And hey, what's up with all the colons in the majority of these titles? Inquiring minds want to know!

Anyway, here's the final cover art to yet another unsettling Wii title I'm really psyched about, Deep Silver's intriguing (and blissfully title colon-free) horror/adventure, Cursed Mountain

So, what's the game about, you ask? Well dear reader, as I'm in the middle of writing up a few reviews, you'll have to settle for this official info swiped from today's press release:

"Set in the late 1980s, gamers will take on the role of a fearless mountaineer as he climbs into the Himalayas on a quest to find his lost brother. As he ascends the mountain, he encounters an ancient curse: the souls of the people who died in that region are stuck in limbo, caught in the Shadow World. Villagers, pilgrims, mountaineers and Buddhist monks - dead but not yet reincarnated - are all that is left on the mountain.

Terrible visions will disorient him, and ghosts and demons block his path. But the question remains - is his brother still alive?"

Color me creeped out, folks. Here are a few screenshots to pore over - I'm liking the lovely stylized visuals quite a lot:
