Gallery: GoldenEye: Reloaded

While previewing the revamped GoldenEye 007 on the Wii last year at an Activision event here in NYC, I asked one of the Eurocom guys if PS3 and 360 owners would ever get to see how great the game was on an HD console. While I forget the EXACT answer I'd gotten, it certainly wasn't "No", which was indeed a good sign. Flash forward less than a year later and *boom!*, here it is: GoldenEye: Reloaded, a beefed up new version (NO, it's not a straight port) that features even better visuals and a few new game modes. Check out more screens below the jump.

As for the disrespectful, non-stop whiners STILL crying about no Pierce Brosnan (again) - grow up already. I'm old enough to go back to the Sean Connery days, but you don't see me threatening a boycott or whatever because he's not in the game. I'm sure George Lazenby, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton fans don't care either. Hell, you may as well complain about the inclusion of Odd Job, Scaramanga and other characters in multiplayer because that makes NO sense at all in terms of why they're all running around shooting each other in the face for a few minutes each.

Anyway, between Brosnan not wanting to be involved in a Bond game project (SOME actors grow tired of being forever typecast) and any number of contractual issues (even if he DID, it would cost a LOT of money), Daniel Craig is James Bond for the moment, and a damn good one (go read some of Ian Fleming Bond books, kids). If you want to miss a great game because you're busy crying in your root beer, go right on ahead. I'll be having a blast in single and multiplayer...
