Santa Monica, CA – October 1, 2010 – Activision Publishing, Inc. announced today the launch of the brand new web site for Tony Hawk®: SHRED, the latest installment in Activision’s renowned Tony Hawk® video game series. This year’s all-new Tony Hawk experience features larger-than-life gameplay and an innovative motion-sensing board controller that gets kids off the couch and into the action. Tony Hawk: SHRED’s new, interactive www.shredgame.com web site gives players a head start on honing their over-the-top skate and snowboarding skills as they explore new game content, the latest news and much, much more!
The new SHRED web site is packed with exciting gameplay tips! Kids will be on the deck mastering killer moves after viewing dozens of training videos that demonstrate over 50 jaw-dropping in-game tricks, including everything from kickflips and grabs to Tony’s signature 900! The site also showcases talent profiles of all the pro riders featured in Tony Hawk: SHRED, as well as a developer blog to keep fans up to speed with all the latest and greatest game news right from the source!
Visitors to the new site should also be sure to check out the limited edition Tony Hawk: SHRED bundle, where the game’s amazing board controller features one of Tony’s custom Birdhouse graphics. Tony Hawk: SHRED will be available at retail October 26th in North America and October 29th in Europe for the Xbox® 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo Wii™.
