Gallery: Mortal Kombat

Well, a mere five screens isn't more than a super tease, but Warner Bros. Interactive wants MK fans to know that the franchise is indeed back and in fine hands. These shots show off the nicely detailed character models along with two maps, The Desert and The Bell Tower.



It'll really be interesting to see how the hard core fans of the series take to the new game, but if it plays as well as it's looking so far, I don't think WBIE or developer NetherRealm Studios have all that much to fret over. The relaunch of Mortal Kombat isn't until next year, but we'll be keeping an eye on the game as it progresses.
